Dear Readers:  If you're already a loyal fan, welcome and thanks for your wonderful support over the years.

It's been a long time since I last updated this page, but here's the news:

At last, at last, I can begin offering my books as E-Books!

Since so many of you have been asking for them, I'm starting with the early Regency romances, which I wrote as "Jean R. Ewing" for Zebra Books.

Scandal's Reward is available to buy now at

 regencyreadsicon.jpg (5321 bytes)

My very first book, Scandal's Reward was nominated for three awards, including RT Best First Regency, and won the Award of Excellence.

I will always love my very first hero. His name was Charles de Dagonet, a gentleman suspected of every vice, even murder.  When he breaks into his childhood home, steals the jewelry, insults the guests, and kisses Kate Hunter, the vicar's daughter and his aunt's companion, Kate is determined to thwart him, until she too is caught up in the mystery and the fascination of the man known as Devil Dagonet.

Enjoy!

If you prefer to read print books, I still have brand new copies of a few of them for sale (though none of the Zebra Regencies, alas). Please e-mail me for more info.

My stories are set primarily in England, my homeland, in the mid-eighteenth or early nineteenth centuries, and are often described as being unexpectedly intelligent, exciting, and complex:

"Brilliant ... I am in awe!" - Mary Balogh

"Exciting, enthralling, wonderfully-written romance." - Jo Beverley

"One of the most powerful voices in historical romance." - Mary Jo Putney

All eight of my historical romances garnered "Top Pick" reviews from Romantic Times—that's right, every single one of them!

"Darkly passionate ... will surprise readers with its intelligent plot and complex themes" - *Starred Review* Publishers Weekly

"Never what one expects ... eroticism, and plots and character traits that push the boundaries of the genre (make) for not-to-be-missed reads" - Booklist

"A stunning tale of intrigue and passion (with) some of the most beautiful and erotic imagery ... I feel very strongly about this book" - A Romance Review

"An exceptional writer who creates rich, compelling characters in tales of intrigue... Fascinating, appealing, and unforgettable" - The Oakland Press

"A powerful, distinctive voice ... Darkly erotic and sensually stunning ... innovative and spellbinding romance" - Romantic Times "Top Pick"

My most recent print release was the mass market edition of Clandestine in November, 2007.

                 Thank you, readers!
